The
first National Chairman of Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, Chief
Solomon Lar died at age 80 on Monday October 7, 2013. The political guru
was also the first civilian governor of Plateau State from October 1,
1979 to December 31, 1983 during the regime of former President Shehu
Shagari.
He chaired the PDP from 1998 to 2002. Lar was once a member of the Federal Parliament between January 1960 and January 1966.
He
became the Minister of Police Affairs from November 1993 to 1994, he
enjoyed many years of political career during his lifetime.....dem don dey go!
