Hottest Upcoming Nollywood Séx Symbols


In the overfilled, low-budget and recently núdity-infiltrating movie industry, Nollywood or Kanywood, the below-mentioned actresses are carving a niche for themselves – they are upcoming talented actresses to watch out for.

Damilola Adegbite
Nollywood reports on who is the séxiest actress in the make-believe industry have placed Damilola Adegbite ahead of her peers.
Online entertainment magazine, Nigeriafilms.com, named Damilola as Nigeria’s séxiest actress, describing her as the newest séx symbol of Nollywood screens.
“She is the new séx symbol of the silver screens in Nigeria,” it said.
She is popularly known for her role as “Thelma Duke” in ‘Tinsel”, Mnet Africa’s first-ever Nigerian soap opera which made her a household name in Nigeria and beyond.
In Ghana, she is known for her debut appearance in Director Shirley Frimpong Manso’s, “Six Hours to Christmas”.
Today, she is the séxiest actress in Nigeria and poised to be the next queen of Nollywood after the famous duo of Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and Genevieve Nnaji. 
Chioma Nwosu
Chioma Nwosu is a multi-talented thespian. She is a lawyer, actor, singer, writer and production manageress. She hails from Umuahia, Abia State. She attended Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos.
She started singing and acting during her primary school days, and went professional in 1999 while in the university; with a career on stage, she was inducted into the thespian fold by the Theatre Arts Department of LASU. She joined a theatre troupe called Optimom Arts Konsotiom where she got trained and groomed. She then went on to try her skills on screen in 2001 when she featured in a soap opera entitled “Zenith”.
Chioma has featured in several productions ever since and they include the following: Langbodo, Zenith, Mr and Mrs, The Vagabond Minstrels, God of Shiloh, Esu, Mistress Revolt, Drums of War, Super Story, Many Colours Make the Thunder King, Drums of War, When Love Dies, From Within, Kingdom Against Kingdom. 
Halima Abubakar
Born in Kano, Halima Abubakar is one of Nigeria’s finest acting talents. Halima spent her early years in Kano and Kogi states. This graduate of Bayero University, Kano, holds a degree in Sociology from the same university.
Having starred in several movies and clinched several awards like City People’s Best actress 2011,The Afro Hollywood award in London as best supporting actress, Actors Guild Icons Award, Global Leadership Award, and a nomination from Best of Nollywood awards, Best Actress HITV Seasoned Award, and recently bagged “The best actress” award at THE EMINENT award powered by News Of The People, coupled with being a Kogi State Youth Ambassador, Halima today has become a force to reckon with. She is becoming a role model to youngsters who desire to pursue her passion.
Zainab Abdullahi (Indomie)
Pretty, light-skinned Zainab “Indomie”, as she is fondly called, was born on May 17, 1986. She is one of the single ladies in the movie industry (Kanywood) who has been acting for the past five years. 
She has been romantically linked with several men in and out of the industry, the most recent being Hassan Mohammed Lawal, a former federal minister, who dumped her after fixing a wedding date, for a non-celebrity. After several failed relationships, she has gone back to her ex-lover, Adam A  Zango, who is also an actor.
Queeneth Hilbert
Queeneth Hilbert is arguably the most beautiful actress in the Nigerian film industry.
The half-Lebanese and half-Nigerian model and actress may not be as famous as Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, but she has attracted millions of fans and many movie buffs for her outstanding roles in over 20 Nollywood movies like “Hearts on Fire”, “Wife on Fire”, “Brave Mind”, “Hand of Fate”, “Sins of the Past”, “The Illiterate”, and “War in the Palace”.
Chelsea Ada Ezerioha
Chelsea was born and raised in Kano. She is a graduate of English Language, University of Maiduguri, and has featured in several movies such as ‘Two Bides and a Baby’, ‘Twist’, ‘Timeless Passion’, and ‘Hood Rush’. However, it was her role in the movie ‘Silent Scandals’ alongside A-list artistes such as Genevieve Nnaji, Uche Jombo and Majid Michael that gave her the breakout she needed.
Chelsea who said she is in the process of discovering herself is definitely working diligently at it as she had put behind her modelling days as Visa Phone model in Benin some years back as well as a couple of calendar jobs for corporate bodies.
Naomi Ihemelu
Anambra State-born Ihemelu is a shining star among her peers as made apparent in her roles in quite a number of movies and soaps ‘Desire’, ‘When You Are Mine’, ‘Confidential Romance’, ‘Faithful Betrayal’, ‘Kolomental’, ‘Clinic Matters’, among others.
The History and International Relations graduate of Lagos State University, (LASU) whose career took off in 2007 has continuously upped her game and is currently dazzling home video and soap opera viewers, especially in ‘Clinic Matters’, the current  comic and educative delight of soap opera lovers.
Angel Ufuoma
Since her arrival barely a year ago in the highly competitive Nollywood, the séxy starlet from Delta State is fast becoming the darling of leading filmmakers. The pretty and cerebral Cambridge-trained lawyer has featured in a number of blockbusters including the already wave-making and yet-to-be-released movie ‘Dr. Bello’. With a knack for flawless role interpretation, the soft-spoken Ufuoma is set to go the distance.
Beverly Naya
In 2010 when Beverly carted home the award of ‘Most Promising Talent’ at the Best of Nollywood Awards, movie buffs viewed her as an actress who had come to stay. Proving her admirers right, she further emerged as ‘Fast Rising Actress’ at the City People’s Awards 2011, after which her career remained on a steady rise.
The UK returnee young actress, who embraced Nollywood in 2008 with her first amazing role in a hit movie entitled ‘Home In Exile’, is no doubt among the latest sensations in the industry. Other movies where she has displayed her acting prowess are ‘The Stripped’, ‘Weekend Getaway’, ‘Up Creek Without A Paddle’, ‘Alan Poza’, ‘Make Me a Heart’ and numerous others. 
Ivie Okujaye
In a recent outburst, she said: ‘I am not going to fade soon; I am going to be around for a very long time. Anybody waiting for me to fade soon is wasting his or her time waiting’. Delta State-born starlet and Genevieve look-alike, Ivie Okujaye, graduate of Economics, University of Abuja, and AMBO season four winner, proved her mettle with her first role in Alero’s Symphony, alongside popular R&B star Faze, which won her AMAA 2012 Award for Best Promising Actress.
Collette Orjiakor
The Anambra state-born fast-rising actress is indeed hot and gradually carving a niche for herself in the industry. She has dazzled in many flicks including ‘Raindrop’, ‘Two Can Play That Game’, ‘Amaka Mustapha’, ‘Strength of a Woman’, and ‘Blue Blood’. This pretty actress is more than just a cleavage and a backside.
She is involved in charity support programmes and recently donated provisions to the children of Abuja Homes Orphanage, Karu. She also works with Children Africa, an NGO dedicated to giving children a better identity. For her, “Children Africa is for us all.”
