Peerless Mexico born, Kenyan raised actress Lupita Nyong'o is on the March edition of Glamour, as the Magazine celebrates its 75th year anniversary.
In the magazine, the Oscar nominated Yale graduate shared her simple, yet inspiring beauty secrets.
Lupita, revealed to the magazine that when it comes to her skin: 'I
love using natural oils. I use avocado oil and Hawaiian kukui oil on my
face. I like to keep things natural, simple, and straightforward. '
Considering how the 30 year old has slayed the red carpet since her arrival at the 2014 golden globes in that historic red cape dress, many women look forward to hearing factors she considers before picking an outfit. She told Glamour:
'I love color. I’m enjoying trying all different shades. Makeup isn’t something I’ve worn a lot of in my life. So it’s good to work with someone like [makeup artist] Nick Barose, who is inspired by my complexion and knows how to work with it.'
On the use of makeup, she said:
'If a girl wants to wear makeup to boost confidence, why not? [But] I’ve worked hard to feel beautiful in my natural skin. Personally, I don’t ever want to depend on makeup to feel beautiful.'
