He passed on around 5pm Tuesday 28th July, 2015.
Details of his death are still a bit sketchy as at press time but it is suggested that the monarch may have died of a fatal cardiac arrest, after been admitted in a London hospital. He is said to have been flown out of the country from Ibadan about five days ago in an unconscious state.
Sources in the Osun State Government House in Osogbo confirmed the development on Tuesday evening.
The late Oba is survived by wives and children. May his soul rest in peace Amen.
