BEST JOB EVER? Woman Gets over $9,000 A MONTH For Recording Herself Eating

A 34-year-old South Korean woman, Park Seo-yeon, has quit her day job at a consultancy firm and is making over $9,400 a month... by livestreaming herself eating.

Tens of thousands of fans watch every day as she serves up enormous meals in her Seoul flat and eats them, live, on a streaming site where she goes by the name The Diva. She can spend up to three hours eating in front of the camera, and make an average of $9,400 a month from advertising and donations.
The trend, known as gastronomic voyeurism, has grown in recent months in South Korea.

Park, who has been filming her show for three years, says: "People enjoy the vicarious pleasure when they can't eat this much or find that food at night or are on a diet.

"Loneliness is another crucial factor. The show is addictive as you can communicate with thousands of people at home," she said.

Her plates of choice range from two medium pizzas to 30 fried eggs and a box of crab legs, or five packets of instant noodles.
The Diva insists she doesn't have an eating disorder, is not regurgitating her meals and has no health problems. She explains she began broadcasting her dinners because she was "bored and needed a hobby."
The videos have been uploaded at the YouTube video channel, where they have several thousands views each.
