As the 2015 elections gradually draws close, we will no doubt be hearing
all sorts of bizzare news relating to how politicians will try to raise
funds for their campaign.
One of such is a new report by MyEmag,
in which it is alleged that depositors monies at First Bank is
currently at risk, as it will be used to fund APC campaigns. See the
report after the cut:
A great deal of danger has found its way into one of Nigeria’s most respected financial institution, First Bank of Nigeria Plc (FBN).
Investigations has revealed that highly controversial political figure, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu and the chairman of Globacom Telecommunications, Otunba Mike Adenuga have both sealed a deal that will see them silently hijack First Bank Plc and be in total all its operations.
It is yet unclear the reason for Mike Adenuga’s involvement in such deal, but an impeccable source within the bank revealed that the move is to ensure a regular supply of cash for Tinubu and APC, as the 2015 election year sets in.

The intrigues that characterized the sudden resignation of Abiru as commissioner of Finance Lagos State to serve as a Director on the Board of FBN Plc has been said to be masterminded by Tinubu who insisted on a day to day report of how his new investment (FBN) is runAbiru according to our investigation, resigned as Commissioner for Finance Lagos State in June 8, 2013, got employed at First Bank June 19, 2013, was nominated in a letter dated, June 26 of the same year from FBN Plc to serve as a Director on its board and resumed proper on August 1, 2013,.With the current development, many are of the opinion that depositors’ money might not be safe with First Bank anymore as a better part of those funds will be used to fund the forth coming 2015 elections.Knowing the free spending attitude of Tinubu, it won’t be wrong to say that the situation which involved the now defunct Societe Generale Bank, where depositors money were used to finance elections is set to happen again, but this time in First Bank.Efforts to get a reaction from First Bank spokespersons Folake Ani-Mumuney proved abortive as she did not respond to text messages Mi5 sent to her mobile phone with the number 08025339***Keep a date with us for update on Tinubu’s buy over of First Bank Plc.
