President Buhari To Head Ministry Of Petroleum For 18 Months

For the next 18 months, the Petroleum ministry is to be headed by president Muhammadu Buhari for  before the appointment of a substantive minister for the ministry, it has been gathered.
President Buhari disclosed this at a recent meeting with some members of his political party, the All Progressives Congress, in Abuja.

A source present at the meeting, who spoke on the condition of anonymity revealed that the President said, he will use the less than 2 years of presiding over the ministry to reposition it.

The president, it was however gathered, was thinking of appointing an experienced individual as his special adviser on petroleum.

PMB was once a minister in charge of the ministry and because of his experience, he was said to have vowed to make sure that he blocked all the loopholes that enabled those manning the ministry to either steal money or petroleum products.
