For the people of Idiaba Ikot Udotan in Nsit Atai local government area of Akwa Ibom State, the last Christmas was a period of communal deliverance from the bondage of witches and wizards.

It was a period where five old men who claimed to be elders of the wizards’ coven, which they call Nka Ibak (wicked association) freely came out to confess their atrocities.

BBC Focus on Africa reporter Komla Dumor dies suddenly at age 41

Ganaian journalist and main presenter of the BBC World News programme Focus on Africa, Komla Dumor has passed away. The TV anchor reportedly passed away at his home in London today Jan. 18th. He was 41.

Is Reggae Maestro, Ras Kimono, Dead?

There are rumours making the rounds online that ace reggae musician Ras Kimono is dead. It was claimed that he died in the early hours of yesterday of kidney complications in India. Kimono who released his debut album, Under Pressure, in 1989 has 5 children from 3 different women. Google has nothing on this story. Is this story true?
