industry, Nollywood or Kanywood, the below-mentioned actresses are
carving a niche for themselves – they are upcoming talented actresses to
watch out for.
Damilola Adegbite
Nollywood reports on who is the séxiest actress in the make-believe industry have placed Damilola Adegbite ahead of her peers.
Online
entertainment magazine, Nigeriafilms.com, named Damilola as Nigeria’s
séxiest actress, describing her as the newest séx symbol of Nollywood
screens.
“She is the new séx symbol of the silver screens in Nigeria,” it said.
She
is popularly known for her role as “Thelma Duke” in ‘Tinsel”, Mnet
Africa’s first-ever Nigerian soap opera which made her a household name
in Nigeria and beyond.
In Ghana, she is known for her debut appearance in Director Shirley Frimpong Manso’s, “Six Hours to Christmas”.
Today,
she is the séxiest actress in Nigeria and poised to be the next queen
of Nollywood after the famous duo of Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and
Genevieve Nnaji.
Chioma Nwosu
Chioma
Nwosu is a multi-talented thespian. She is a lawyer, actor, singer,
writer and production manageress. She hails from Umuahia, Abia State.
She attended Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos.
She
started singing and acting during her primary school days, and went
professional in 1999 while in the university; with a career on stage,
she was inducted into the thespian fold by the Theatre Arts Department
of LASU. She joined a theatre troupe called Optimom Arts Konsotiom where
she got trained and groomed. She then went on to try her skills on
screen in 2001 when she featured in a soap opera entitled “Zenith”.
Chioma
has featured in several productions ever since and they include the
following: Langbodo, Zenith, Mr and Mrs, The Vagabond Minstrels, God of

Halima Abubakar
