New terrorist group, Ansaru claimed to have killed the Seven foreign hostages it kidnapped last month.
On Feb 16 2013, the sect kidnapped 7 foreigners made up of British, Greece, Italy, Phillipines and 3 Lebanese national.
The
leader of sect, Abu Usamatal Ansary, stated in a message posted in a
Islamic website that the decision to execute the expatriates followed
reported attempts by British and Nigerian Forces to storm the area where
the hostages were being kept and release them, contrary to earlier
warnings issued by the sect.
Meanwhile there is no confirmation from Nigerian securities authorities yet on the alleged action.
